NOTD!

Hey guys! I hope you are all excited to see this Nail of the Day (NOTD)! I just finished painting my nails my favorite color to wear during the summer months as it makes any skin tone looked instantly tanned! The color that I am wearing is SHOCKING PINK by CHINA GLAZE and i must admit I am a China Glaze junkie. They are by far my most favorite nail polish brand! This color is the most amazing color that lasts unusually long. If you've read my Seche Vite post from a few days ago, you know that of course i always put that top coat over top any nail polish as it just gives it a beautiful shine and gel like texture.

I find that this color looks best with 2 coats, just to give it a more meaningful color payoff. If you prefer matte nail polish colors than you can simply let the polish dry and be done with it because it definitely dries completely matte. OR if you prefer a shiny finish (like me!) then definitely add in a top coat!

I hope you guys enjoyed this look and a definitely recommend this brand and color!
Please let me know what your favorite colors and brands are in the comments below and i will
talk to you guys soon!

NAKED Daytime Smokey Eye!

So today's tutorial is going to be based on a neutral smokey eye perfect for during the day! I recently bought the NAKED palette from Urban Decay that I could not get a hold of in Canada but finally found it on a recent trip to buffalo! So if you girls are ready, lets get started!

Products Used
Urban Decay Primer Potion
NAKED Palette from Urban Decay
Sephora Black Liquid Eye Liner
L'Oreal's Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

Step 1
Apply Foundation of choice and cover any blemishes with concealer.
Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid and blend in with finger.
Step 2
Apply Naked (from the naked palette) all over lid with a fluffy eyeshadow brush.
Next apply Toasted all over the lid with a firm eyeshadow brush and blend into the crease.
Step 3
Take the color Hustle and apply into the crease with a firm crease brush.
Next take a blending brush and blend until there are no harsh lines.
When blending the color try to create a triangular shape starting from the inner corner and getting bigger towards the far end of the brow bone.
Step 4
Apply Virgin as the highlight color right under your eye brows and blend out any harsh lines.
Next take Sin and place on the inner tear duct to illuminate the eye.
Step 5
Apply Liquid Eyeliner (or gel) starting from the inner tear duct and getting slightly thicker towards the end of the eye. Wing out if desired.
Step 6
Take an angled flat brush and the color Hustle and apply to the lower lash line. Rim waterline with a black kohl eyeliner pencil.
Step 7
Apply 2-3 coats of black mascara and curl when dried.

And thats it! This look is perfect for school or work and will look good on any skin tone
as the colors are very neutral!
I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and please leave any comments on other
looks you would like to see!

Weekly Beauty Fav!

Alright beauty lovers, this is going to be on ongoing topic where I will post my Must Have beauty item for the week, at the beginning of the week or the end...(haven't quite decided). If you guys would like it better if I did it daily (holycrap!) or monthly...please leave a comment below! So if you're ready lets go!

Although the week has just begun, and July seems to be flying by, I have found myself using one particular beauty product time and time again. This week's Beauty Fav goes to...drum roll...
SECHE VITE TOP COAT! Guys this is the most AMAZING top coat you will ever use! I seriously can not get enough of this stuff! My favourite thing about it is simply the fact that it dries almost instantly (like seriously within id say about 30 seconds). It will leave your nails looking like you just came from the nail salon, as it is super shiny! I can wear this top coat for a good 4-5 days longer than the OPI topcoat with it still looking fresh and shiny. Although the price tag is 12$ in Canada it is definitely worth it esp. since a little bit of product goes a super long way!

Also a little side note of other ways to use this product that i found works amazingly is if you have sensitive skin that tends to break out if you wear cheap custom jewlery. Simply put a layer of this top coat onto anything such as your earrings or rings and i promise you that your skin will not turn green or be feeling itchy!

Hope you all give this product a try and please let me know if you like it! As always comments are always helpful so stay smiling my beauties and will talk to you soon!
